Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner. I appreciate you stopping by once again. Today I am so pleased to be back with another Stay Crafty Challenge with A Blog Named Hero, This month the theme is “Tea For Two”. This challenge allows you to make a card using two of anything. I chose to use the New Day Butterflies from Hero Arts. So let’s get started on the card.
To being with I trimmed a panel of 80lb white cardstock using the Hero Arts Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die. I placed a piece of masking tape about a third of the way down the panel and ink blended a section. For the ink blending I used Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Wilted Violet. I then splattered with clean water to create a speckled look. Once the ink blending was dry, I stamped a thank you from the same stamp set.
I moved on to the butterflies which I stamped in Memento Black Ink as I was going to colour with Copic Markers. For the colouring I have used R85, 83, 81, BV13, 02, 00, Y11.
I fussy cut the butterflies and added them to the panel with foam tape and then added to the panel to a top folding card base to complete the card.
I hope you like today’s card and will join in this month’s challenge. Head over A Blog Named Hero or the Hero Arts Blog to see the other fantastic cards from the rest of the design team.
