Happy Easter

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner. I am finally getting back into a normal routine after the long summer holidays here in Australia, so you will start seeing more posts here from now on. Yay!! I am so pleased to be back with a card featuring one of the gorgeous digital stamps from the new RAM Stamps February release. There are four new stamps which are all adorable along with some stunning new digital patterned papers. So let’s get started on the card…..

For today’s card I will be using the super sweet Bunny’s Bike digital stamp. I started off by downloading the image onto 80lb white cardstock. I then coloured the image with Copic markers and fussy cut.

I then moved onto the background. I stamped a background stamp called Woodland Background from Purple Onion Designs and coloured it with Copic markers. I stamped a Happy Easter sentiment using black dye ink and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.

For the Copic colouring I have used the following colours – YG63, YG61, E44, E43, E42, E41, W4, W2, W0, W00, Y18, Y15, Y13, Y11, R85, R83, BV00, BG23, BG10, R30, C6, C4, C2, Go2, G00, G000, G0000, E55, E53, E51, E50, B00.

I cut and scored a card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches and die cut a panel of white card stock using a slightly larger Stitched Rectangle die. I glued these two together and then added to the coloured panel with foam tape. Lastly I added the bunny with foam tape.

That completes the card for today, I hope you love it as much as I do. Head over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the complete release, it’s fantastic!

Monkey Smiles

Hi friends, day three of the August release for RAM Stamps has arrived!! Have you been over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the whole new release yet? If not, I really encourage you to. This release really is adorable, there’s a lot of different characters that will suit so many different types of crafty projects. Back to today….. today I will be using the Monkey Smiles digital stamp. So let’s get started……

As always, I start off by getting my card base ready and the die cutting done. The card base measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then die cut the large scalloped die from the Simon Says Stamp Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles out of the MFT Stamps Pretty in Plaid paper.

I printed the Monkey Smiles image on my Canon Pixma printer and coloured with Copic markers. Once the colouring was dry, I added white gel pen highlights. The coloures I have used for this image include –

BV13, 02, 00, YG 03, 01, 00, 000, R30, 83, E44, 43, 42, 41, B000, B0000.

I then die cut the image using the same scalloped die and added all the panels to the card base. Today’s card was quick and simple – sometimes it’s better not to overcomplicate things. A clean and simple card is a beautiful thing!!!

Animal Fun

Hi crafty friends, it’s day two of the RAM new release for August. I hope you liked yesterday’s card. Today I am mixing up the digital images and combining three different images from the release – Hoppy Birthday Bunny, Beary Awesome Day and Koala-ty Friend – to make one super cute card. Let’s get started……

I started off by getting all of the card bases and die cutting done. I created a card base to measure 3.5 x 6.5 inches from MFT Grapesicle cardstock, I then trimmed a panel of Neenah 80lb cardstock to measure slightly smaller and then a piece of Pretty in Plaid paper from MFT Stamps to measure slightly smaller again. I cut three windows into the printed paper using a stitched rectangle die.

I ink blended Kitsch Flamingo and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white card stock. I glued this panel to the printed paper panel and added all of the panels to the card base. The printed paper panel was popped up with foam tape.

I then resized the three images and printed them on my Canon Pixma printer. I coloured all of the images with Copic markers and added white highights with a Gelly Roll pen. I then fussy cut all of the images and added one into each window.

For the sentiment I stamped my chosen sentiment from the MFT Stamps Well Hello stamp set in white pigment ink on to Grapesicle cardstock. I added white embossing powder and heat set until melted. I trimmed the sentiment and added to the card.

This completes the card for today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing how this card came together. Make sure to head over to the RAM Stamps website to check the whole new release. Come back tomorrow for day three!!

Hoppy Birthday Bunny

Hi crafty friends, thanks again for visiting my card corner. It’s great to have you here once again. I am so excited – today is the August new release for RAM Stamps and of my word, it is absolutely gorgeous. Over the next five days, I will be featuring newly released digital stamps. For day one I will be using the sweet Hoppy Bunny Birthday stamp. I can’t wait to share them with you, so let’s get started…..

I started off by creating a card base using 110,b Neenah cardstock to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then trimmed a piece of MFT Stamps Pretty in Plaid 6x 6 paper to the same size and glued it to the card base. I then die cut the MFT Elegant Stitched Stax Die-namic using Ripe Raspberry cardstock from MFT Stamps. To do this I added two different sizes to create a frame.

I then moved on to the image. I resized the image and printed on my Canon Pixma printer onto 80lb Neenah cardstock. I coloured the images using Copic markers and once dry, I added Gelly Roll highlights. For the colouring I have used the following colours –

W4, 2, 0, 00, E44, 43, 42, 41, R89, 85, 83, 81, G02, 00, 000, RV02, R30

I added the pink frame to the front of the image using liquid glue and then trimmed the excess away. Lastly I added the image to the front of the card base using foam tape.

That completes the card for today. It is clean and simple but still so cute and the bunny is the star of the show!!! Be sure to head over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the whole release.

Christmas Joy

Hi friends, I am back with my third card from the RAM Stamps new release. As a card maker that lives in Australia, what could be better than a Christmas card with two of our gorgeous national animals – the kangaroo and koala. I am lucky enough see these animals over my back fence. Let’s get started on today’s card…..

As always, I started off today’s card by getting all of the die cutting and panels made. I have a card base that measures 5 x 5 inches, made from Neenah 80lb cardstock. Then a slightly smaller panel of Cheerful Plaid paper from MFT Stamps and glued it to the card base.

I printed the image on my Pixma printer and coloured with Copic markers. and hand drew in a small grounding. The colour combinations I have used include –

RV09, RV04, YG09, YG06, YG07, R20, E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, C4, C2, C0, C00, E55, E53, E51, E50, E000, E0000, N4, N6.

I stencilled in an Australia “big sky” using the MFT Stamps Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. Once the colouring was dry, I added shimmer pen to the Christmas lights. I then die cut the panel using the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scallop Square die and added it to the card base with foam tape.

That completes card number three from this new release, I hope you love this little piece of Aussie Christmas and will join me again tomorrow for my last card for this new release.
