Stacked Chicks

Hi crafty friends, thanks for stopping by at my card corner once again. I really appreciate you visiting. Today I am back with another card featuring the new February release from RAM Stamps and what a sweet release it is. If you haven’t seen the new release yet, I encourage you to head over to the RAM Stamps website to check it out. There are four new digital images for Easter along with new digital patterned papers, all are gorgeous. So let’s get started on today’s card….

To begin the card I downloaded and printed the Stacked Chicks digital image. I printed it once at the original size and then once again slightly bigger. I coloured the original size image with Copic marker and then fussy cut. With the slightly larger print, I coloured the bottom chick along with the Easter eggs, these were also fussy cut.

I die cut the Mama Elephant Frilly Window Frame die using white 80lb cardstock. I then masked off the side and bottom and ink blended some Cracked Pistachio Distress ink and splattered with green watercolour paint. Once dry I stamped the sentiment using Shaded Lilac Distress ink. I added the stacked chicks and flowers with foam tape. I added some of the Easter eggs from the larger print around the chicks feet.

I added this white panel to a yellow card base. Inside the card base I added a white panel that measures slightly smaller. In the bottom right corner, inside the card base, I added the larger chick and some more Easter eggs.

That completes the card for today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing how this card was created and I hope you will have some crafty time make some Easter cards soon.

Thanks again for visiting…. xx

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner. I am finally getting back into a normal routine after the long summer holidays here in Australia, so you will start seeing more posts here from now on. Yay!! I am so pleased to be back with a card featuring one of the gorgeous digital stamps from the new RAM Stamps February release. There are four new stamps which are all adorable along with some stunning new digital patterned papers. So let’s get started on the card…..

For today’s card I will be using the super sweet Bunny’s Bike digital stamp. I started off by downloading the image onto 80lb white cardstock. I then coloured the image with Copic markers and fussy cut.

I then moved onto the background. I stamped a background stamp called Woodland Background from Purple Onion Designs and coloured it with Copic markers. I stamped a Happy Easter sentiment using black dye ink and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics from My Favorite Things.

For the Copic colouring I have used the following colours – YG63, YG61, E44, E43, E42, E41, W4, W2, W0, W00, Y18, Y15, Y13, Y11, R85, R83, BV00, BG23, BG10, R30, C6, C4, C2, Go2, G00, G000, G0000, E55, E53, E51, E50, B00.

I cut and scored a card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches and die cut a panel of white card stock using a slightly larger Stitched Rectangle die. I glued these two together and then added to the coloured panel with foam tape. Lastly I added the bunny with foam tape.

That completes the card for today, I hope you love it as much as I do. Head over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the complete release, it’s fantastic!

Love Bugs

Hi crafty friends, welcome back to my card corner and thank you for visiting. I have been away from the blog for about a month whilst travelling overseas, seeing family for Christmas. I am pleased to be back for another year of crafty fun for 2024. I am excited to share the new RAM Stamps release today – get ready for Valentines Day inspired stamps and patterned papers - although as you will see from many of the cards the design team have made, the images can be used for many different occasions. So let’s get started on today’s card.

I started off by creating a card red card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches and then added a panel of white card stock that was slightly smaller. I then used the My Favorite Things Lots of Heart stencil with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. This panel was then die cut and added to the card base.

I moved onto the sentiment, I have used the Jeff Alpha Die from Pink Fresh Studio. I die cut this 4 times from white card stock, glue them together and set them aside to dry. Once dry, I ink blended the top with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. I then glued them to the card base.

I then printed the Lovebugs digital stamps. I coloured the images with copic markers and fussy cut. The images were glued into place and the heart was covered with glossy accents. I set the card aside until completely dry.

That completes the card for today. I look forward to sharing some more of the new RAM Stamps release with you over the next few days. In the meantime, head over to the website to see the release in full.

Have you had a chance to check out the wholes release? If not, I encourage you to, it’s gorgeous and has everything you need to create some stunning Christmas cards and crafts. Let’s get started on today’s card……

I started off by getting the card base and panels prepared. This card measured 4.5 x 4.5 inches and has been created using Neenah 110lb cardstock. I then cut the next panel using the Light Blue Gingham patterned paper from this month’s release. I die cut this using the Lawn Fawn scalloped Square die. I glued these both together. I then cut a piece of Navy cardstock. Lastly I die cut a smaller panel using the scalloped die from Lawn Fawn again.

I then printed the the Peace Angel digital image on to 80lb white cardstock and coloured it with Copic markers. Once the colouring was complete, I fussy cut the image and set aside. I masked off the edges of the smaller scalloped die and then lightly ink blended the rest of the square using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink.

For the colouring I have used – R32, 30, 00, E57, 55, 53, 51, 50, 21, Y15, 13, 11, G00.

I added the Peace Angel image to the square die cut panel and then glued this o the navy cardstock panel. This was then added to the card base. I then printed the accompanying sentiment, trimmed it down to size and then coloured it using R30 Copic marker, it was then added to the card using foam tape.
